I loved the unique classroom-themed rooms! It was such a magical touch. The hot tub was super relaxing after a long day. Only downside was the train noise at night. earplugs helped though! 😊

The homemade breakfast was a highlight, featuring a delicious variety that truly showcased local flavors.
The proximity to the highway meant that noise from passing traffic could be distracting at times, especially at night.

Unique classroom-themed rooms that add charm to your stay.
The trains passing by frequently at night ruined my sleep. Each train's loud horn echoed through the room every couple of hours. Climbing multiple flights of stairs with heavy luggage was exhausting as there was no elevator.

Charming history with delicious breakfasts
Staying at Northside School B&B felt like stepping back in time. From delightful homemade cookies upon arrival to the unique classroom-themed rooms, every moment was charming. The hot tub was an oasis, perfect after a long day exploring. The breakfast spread was a talk of the town—truly a homemade delight with flavors you won’t find in a chain hotel. Jeri and Frank were accommodating hosts, sharing local tips and making us feel right at home.
While the historic charm of creaking floors added to the ambiance, some may find the occasional noise from trains or birds a bit distracting. Though earplugs were provided, light sleepers might want to consider that before their stay.

Had an awesome time with friends! The breakfast buffet was amazing with fresh fruit and tasty egg casserole. We also spent time at the hot tub, and the hosts were super friendly! We went hiking and even took a ride down the whitewater river—definitely a blast! Each room had its own charm and was so comfortable. Can't wait to come back!
The hot tub area was a bit too hot during our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we wanted.

Had a great time in the Queen Room! It was spacious and cozy, with charming decor that took me back to school days. The bed was super comfy—seriously felt like sleeping on clouds! The hot tub area was perfect for winding down after exploring Bonners Ferry. Breakfast was top-notch too, so delicious! Just a heads up, light sleepers might notice some ambient noise from nearby trains, but I found it relaxing.

The stay in our cozy Queen Room was a delightful blend of nostalgia and comfort, enhanced by the friendly hospitality at this unique venue. Highlights included a lovely hot tub area, ideal for relaxation after a day of exploring, and a breakfast that truly lived up to the hype—each dish was not only delicious but a heartfelt reflection of home-cooked comfort. However, the creaky floors at times felt a bit distracting, and while the distant train sounds added character, they might not suit light sleepers seeking total peace. Still, it was an experience filled with charm.
